This past Thursday I went to Jerusalem with our younger daughter. We had a great time together. We had not been there together for a long time.
Pictured above is the “Chords Bridge.” It was completed in 2008. This carries 2 tracks of the Jerusalem Light Rail and also has a sidewalk for pedestrians. It cost about $70 million to build. This caused controversy because it was a very expensive solution to a traffic problem and most people felt it could be solved in a much less-expensive way.
We also met with long-time friends who also live in Israel now. She and her extended family have been very dear to us for many, many years. The bottom-right photo is from a bagel shop in the German Colony that we visited to get some yummy bagels to go.
Shavuah Tov!
So enjoy the pictures. Bagel shop looks yum!
