Recently, we received an email from Tom and Jane.  You may remember them from our Conference.  They work in prison ministry and provide DVDs of Baruch’s teaching, etc., to prisons free of charge.  We are so glad to have them distributing Bible teaching, and they do it at their cost, not our’s.

Tom and Jane shared with us a letter they received from an inmate.  I wanted to share part of it with you.

“We have a consistent group of 8-10 men who gather for Erev Shabbat gatherings, where we are studying the weekly parasha and learning/reciting the weekly prayers.”

“…I received your group’s information from a DVD teaching here in the chapel’s library about the Hebrew Roots.”  (Baruch’s teaching, provided by Tom and Jane).

Over time, this group of men has made a positive influence upon some Orthodox Jewish men who are also in jail.

“We are going to be celebrating the holidays on a couple of days with the Orthodox Jews here.  They have finally accepted us as not being aliens from an enemy planet.  They have watched us all year long and have been slowly accepting us more and more.”

In fact, they are planning to get together to play dreidel on December 24 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm, Eastern Time.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THESE MEN AS THEY GATHER TOGETHER.  LET’S PRAY THAT THE BELIEVERS ARE A POSITIVE INFLUENCE ON THE ORTHODOX MEN AND THAT THE GOSPEL WILL BE SHARED.  LET’S ALSO PRAY THAT THESE MEN HAVE SOME GREAT FELLOWSHIP AT THIS SPECIAL TIME, AS WE REMEMBER THE MIRACLES OF G-D.
