Alba-Iulia, Romania

The bottom of a salt mine near Turda, Romania.

This trip had been quite intense with a lot of speaking engagements and hours in the van. Team Leader George wanted to allow us time to learn more about Romania and also stretch our legs! With the suggestion of Daniel, we headed to the salt mine (above and below). There we were able to see the beauty of the natural salt formations and also climb up and down approximately 25 flights of stairs! Above is the bottom of the mine, which now has water with paddle boats.

We were also blessed to a delicious meal prepared by George’s wife, Anca. We appreciate her friendship and prayer for the work. How nice of her to host all of us!

Baruch taught Friday evening and Shabbat morning at Flame of Worship church in Alba-Iulia. He taught on 2 Chronicles 30, Philippians 3:1-11 and Galatians 4:21-31. There was a good turnout and the people really appreciated the 2 Chronicles studies.

We were so blessed to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. Supporters, translators and encouragers! Thank you Alba-Iulia!

George also scheduled a photo shoot with Ionut for Baruch and myself so that we would have good quality photos for upcoming conferences, etc. Television networks are routinely asking for high quality photos they can use for promotional purposes. Thank you, George, for arranging this for us!
