Pictures from the VIA Conference today.
Friday evening, Saturday morning and early afternoon and Sunday morning, Baruch taught a Conference at VIA in Cluj, Romania. There was an excellent turnout, despite the snow and cold temperatures.
The Conference was taped by CREDO TV and is going to be aired on their station. They are very committed to spreading the Word of G-d throughout Romania.
Today Baruch spoke about the spies being sent out to give a report on the Promised Land. He mentioned the verse “Without a vision, the people will perish.” (Proverbs 29:18). When we walk according to G-d’s call (the vision), we will receive His blessings and promises. We are to focus on the call for our life and not compare ourselves to others.
President Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Comparison is the thief of Joy.” That is so true.
Many times we will have negative thoughts about ourselves. Then we will allow our minds to believe that that is how other people view us. Look at the verse below:
Numbers 13: 33 states:
And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. (KJV)
Comparison will cause us to feel unworthy, inadequate and will eventually cause us to walk in fear. That is not what G-d wants for us. He wants us to walk in faith!
Let us pray that we will focus on the vision G-d has for our lives and that we will quit comparing ourselves to others.
This evening, Baruch spoke at the Baptist church in Alba-Iulia, Romania. The place was totally full. He spoke on Hannah from I Samuel 1 and 2.
Tomorrow Baruch will teach a Conference at the Baptist church on some major theological issues, including The Two-fold Purpose of G-d’s Grace, the Sufficiency of the Cross, A Right Understanding of the Sovereignty of G-d, The Necessity of Yeshua’s Blood, and The Abomination of Desolation as a Key Event.
Thursday evening and Saturday evening, Baruch spoke at Manastur church in Cluj. On Thursday, he spoke on Isaiah 11 and Saturday evening he spoke about marriage and the family.
