Holocaust Memorial Day in Israel

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day in Israel.  International Holocaust Remembrance Day is January 27 each year.  This is a very somber day in Israel, in which we remember the 6,000,000 Jews killed by not only the Nazis, but also by police, neighbours and communities of many countries.  Through our investigation over the past couple of years, we have learned about how local people participated in the killing of Jews, sometimes their neighbours!

Today at 10:00 am there was a siren sounded throughout the entire country of Israel.  For 2 minutes is blasts.  Every person stops what they are doing–whether it is watching television, working, driving a car– to stand up in respect for those victims of the Holocaust.  It is a very moving event to see and participate in.

Please take a moment today to remember those victims.  Let us renew our conviction to stand up for right, no matter what the consequences.

Anti-Semitism is on the rise again, and we need to be prepared.  Have you watched Baruch’s series “Understanding the End Times in Light of the Holocaust”?  You won’t want to miss it.  You can find it for purchase on our companion website:  1335kingdom.com.
