At the Conference today. We had a good time with our friend, Tzachi Shapira, author of “Return of the Kosher Pig.”
Well, today we had the opportunity to sit in on some interesting Roundtable discussions, including “Congregational Life in Israel–Differences and Similarities” and “The Phenomena of the “Anusim” (descendants of Jews forced to convert to Catholicism during the Spanish and Portuguese Inquisitions)”.
The Congregational Life seminar supported our belief that knowing and speaking Hebrew and service in the IDF (or your children’s service if you made aliyah when older) are vital to acceptance into Israeli culture. We have found that those who immigrate to Israel but don’t make the effort to learn Hebrew, are not fully accepted. That is why we worked very hard to learn Hebrew when we first moved to Israel.
Baruch was also asked to film four short videos for GodTV. He gave four brief teachings for one of their programs.
We believe that the connections we made at this conference will be beneficial to people around the world, as we made contact with people who head up Bible schools. We are wanting partnerships with other ministries to use Baruch’s teaching videos.
Tomorrow we head to Florida, to begin preparations for our Conference. We are looking forward to seeing many of you there.
