Travel Day

Central Park, NYC.

Today is a travel day for Baruch, our daughter and myself.  Baruch is leaving Atlanta, after some good meetings.  He appreciated those of you who came out to the events.

Our daughter and I made it to NYC, where we arrived to a passenger dying at baggage claim right by us, our baggage missing and thousands of people waiting for transportation.  We later heard on the news that people had to walk to La Guardia because they could not get transportation.  We did not see any family with the man who passed away but we do pray for them.

In the end, we were able to get a taxi without waiting (went to a different part of the airport where no one was waiting) and our bags arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night.

Now, as we wait to fly again, New York again has snow/rain and we are praying that our flight will go out okay later this afternoon.

This experience reminded me that we cannot get hung up on our plans and that our joy is in the L-rd, not in our circumstances.  While at speaking engagements with Baruch, I heard him teaching about our plans not being in line with G-d’s plans.  That is so true.  He has His Best for us and we must always remember that.

Thankful today for safety and G-d’s care for us.

  1. Shalom Rivka Praise the L-rd for His hand upon you and family and all your travel mercies. It was sad to hear about the man which also passed away. It is good though to be able to be used to pray for his family. The L-rd works in many ways. I do have a question, it is in relation to all the traveling you do with the Ministry. How do you manage maintaining eating Kosher in all the locations you travel too? I have often wondered on this. Thank you for your response 😊 Blessings and continued prayers for you, Baruch, your family and Ministry Cindee 🌹
