We’ve made it to Asia.
First, an update on Israel. There is currently a ceasefire, which seems to be holding. There haven’t been any rockets in over 10 hours, as of this writing on Thursday early morning. In all, approximately 500 rockets were shot into Israel.
What is of news is that our Defense Minister, Avigdor Leiberman, has resigned. This has sparked questions about the government coalition and whether there will be elections. Leiberman is said to be frustrated with the response to the attacks by Hamas in Gaza.
Today we had the opportunity to learn about the country we are in and how the believing community functions. Traditional methods are not very relevant here and it is interesting to hear of alternative methods of interacting with like-minded people.
