When is Pesach (Passover)?

*This post has been edited to correct an error on the date. Thank you to those who alerted me to my mistake!

Pesach begins at sundown on the 14th day of Nisan.  On the Gregorian calendar that is Sundown, April 22, which also happens to be Erev Shabbat.

I am currently visiting family, but plan to begin my Pesach blog series this week.  I have 5 blogs planned, which will cover the Biblical account, how Pesach is celebrated today, the process beforehand, the Pesach kitchen, the Seder, and also a spiritual aspect to Pesach.  I hope you will join me for this series.

Blessings,

Rivka
