With Great Sadness…

IMG_1584

One more view of the Powerscourt Gardens, where Liz took many strolls.

It is with great sadness that I tell you that Liz, the main organiser of the Ireland Conference, passed away in the night last night.  We had visited with her not many hours before and were shocked to hear the news this morning.

We had such a good conversation with her last night.  She shared some wisdom which I hope to apply to my life.  She talked about not wasting time worrying about things that are nothing.  And many things we think and worry about are truly nothing!  I believe if we all would take that to heart it would bring about great changes in our lives.

Liz only knew of her diagnosis for less than 2 weeks, yet she impacted many people’s lives with the insight she received during this time.

We ask for prayers for her husband John and their daughter Abigail at this very difficult time.

  1. indeed very sad; :(( I prayed for Liz last shabbat as I was led to do so….Yah knows why He took her already away out of this world…may she rest in His Shalom until He will return and makes us all one in Him and we live forever , He in us and we in Him, b’shalom v’ahava

  2. I am saddened to know this Rivka.. I know the wisdom that you received from her will be passed on… Praying for her family for comfort. It is so hard when we lose a loved one so quickly. May her legacy be passed on to inspire us..I am sorry for your loss and Baruch’s loss…

  3. There is sadness in my heart and I didn’t even know her. The word of the L-rd says in 1 Corinthians 12:26 :And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. We can only take comfort in knowing that she is with the L-rd now. We will continue praying for her family for strength and peace,as we know how these times can be. Sounds like she was a very wise woman of G-d. Shalom be with you all.

  4. Prayer sent up. She sounds like a woman of great faith, strength and character. It must have been a blessing to know her, even for so short a time. May G-d give you peace. Praise Messiah Yeshua for our blessed hope in the Kingdom! – where we will meet anew, and newly meet, those who go before us.
